About Tina
THM’s Tina has fulfilled consultancy services covering communications, PR, copywriting, feature writing and project management with clients including: BASCA (now Ivors Academy), British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM), BMG Production Music, Council of Music Makers (CMM), PRS For Music, Shake the High Road Festival, Universal Production Music, Wide Days and Warner Music International.
She has appeared as an expert commentator on BBC national TV news, BBC regional radio, Reprezent Radio, Brighton Music Conference, The Guardian and M Magazine from PRS For Music. As a tastemaker, Tina has created and contributed to multiple ‘Ones To Watch’ lists – previously curating Music Week’s ‘On The Radar’ and Playlist – as well as participating in the BRIT Awards voting academy.
Tina is a proud Londoner and pop music fan turned Aunty of the music industry (still a huge pop music fan). A decade ago she was overjoyed to become a regular writing live and new music reviews at MSN UK, as well as content for a then fledgling SBTV. Moving from consumer to business-facing content, Tina landed a coveted place as part of the Music Week editorial team alongside new editor Tim Ingham and publisher Dave Roberts (now running Music Business Worldwide).
Her passion for popular music and the executives behind it, coupled with an aptitude for words and networking nous, developed alongside awareness of commercial and promotional aspects outside of the standard job description. Beloved full-time roles in performing rights (BMI), publishing (MPA) and PR (DawBell) followed for Tina before leaping into freelance consultancy.
